  • Winter tour - 7 Lucky Gods cycling tour

Do you know of the mythical 7 lucky gods known as Shichifukujin in Japanese?
They are dieties originating from Buddism, Japanese Shintoism and Hinduism. They represent longevity, prosperity, happiness, fortune, talent, luck and wisdom.
In Ome city, they are worshiped at 7 different temples. By traveling to each temple over the New Year period, we can pay our respects and receive their blessings for the coming year.

From our start point in Mitake, we will cycle for around 20km visiting the 7 temples and eating lunch on the way. At each temple we can buy lucky charms or get a goshuin (a written or stamped proof of our visit).
